Amy O'Grady, the company's owner and chief executive officer, founded The Secret Service Co when she became exhausted and resentful of her previous business. A business that she once enjoyed and was passionate about. 
 

In 2019, after completing her studies as an Integrative Nutrition Practitioner, Amy eagerly embarked on her journey as a nutrition business owner. Amy's realization that running a business wasn't all it was cracked up to be hit her like a tonne of bricks because she had no prior experience in the field. Amy found herself spending 90 percent of her day on administrative tasks, content creation, logistics, ordering, website maintenance, and other mundane tasks associated with running a business. The remaining 10% of her energy was dedicated to teaching and assisting clients with their nutrition. Amy did not anticipate this when she set out on her journey. 

 

Amy was determined not to let administrative and digital work defeat her, so she set out to learn business management from scratch. How to construct websites. How to construct content. how to promote herself. Amy found herself on the other side of burnout after two years, numerous short courses, and a great deal of money; she had finally mastered how to run a profitable business by herself. 

 

She had transitioned from overwhelm, frustration, burnout, and resentment to business alignment, ease, and flow. 

 

After mastering the business world of online marketing and business development, Amy encountered numerous struggling new business owners who sought her advice: "How did you do it, Amy?"

 

They all told the same tale: "I'm spending all of my time building my business and none of it doing what I love."

 

As you can imagine, the rest is history. Amy established The Secret Service Co. and began teaching her techniques and business strategies to overseas virtual assistants. The Secret Service Company has experienced exponential growth over the past two years. 

 

Amy continues to work in the company, supporting her team of virtual assistants, liaising with clients, and developing individualized marketing strategies.
